Currently, dance TV shows are one of the most entertaining programs. In the recent years, several TV shows are aired on dance based and the shows feature different dance styles. For the fans of dance in its every form, dance competitions are a great escape. It could be international dance events or local dance shows. The dance performances are mostly mind blowing and you simply can’t determine which one is the best.

1. The Next Step - Season 1 Intro

A Canadian teen drama series shot in a reality TV style, created by Frank van Keeken. The series comprises of a group of dancers who attend The Next Step Dance Studio as they determine to win a series of dance competitions. It was first aired on Family Channel on March 8, 2013. The series premiere is known to have the largest audience of any series on the network.

2. Dance Academy - Series 1 Trailer

This is an Australian teen-oriented TV drama produced by Werner Film Productions in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and ZDF. The first series was premiered on 31 May 2010, and series two began airing on 12 March 2012. And series three premiered on ABC3 on 8 July 2013 in Australia.

3. So You Think You Can Dance Trailer

This is an American televised dance competition show that shows on Fox in the United States. SYTYCD was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe.

This another American dance reality TV series that started on March 5, 2014. On April 28, 2014, Lifetime declared an additional 10-episode renewal of Bring It!.

9. Dance Moms: Studio 19 INVADES ALDC TERRITORY (Season 8) | Extended Scene | Lifetime

This is an American reality TV series that started on July 13, 2011. This was created by Collins Avenue Productions, it is set in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the Abby Lee Dance Company and follows the early careers of children in dance as well as the participation of dancers’ mothers.

America's Best Dance Crew

The seventh season of "America's Best Dance Crew" features 10 dance crews competing for the title and a cash prize of $100,000. There are nine all-new hip-hop crews plus a returning crew from season two, "Fanny Pak," the first time in the series' history a crew from a prior season returns to the "ABDC" stage. Each episode features performances inspired by the music and persona of the artist of the week, and one of the two crews with the least number of viewer votes is eliminated by returning judges JC Chasez, Lil Mama and Dominic "D-Trix" Sandoval. Mario Lopez once again is the host.
